Message to Self: Don't Work in Fast Food

Sometimes I have no idea where my thoughts come from, such as my dance for this semester. It started out as "things you would only do if you were getting paid," which I thought was reasonable since there are many jobs that I would be willing to do, but only if I were getting paid. I then worked with my cast to create a list of jobs that we would do only while being paid and we decided to include in the piece: massage hairy peoples' backs, flip burgers, take out the garbage, and be a costume character at Disney. Once I had choreographed the piece, I realized that all the activities could relate to working in a fast food restaurant. While some of them were more obvious, others needed to be reevaluated. Massaging hairy peoples' backs turned into tenderizing hamburger (which we all not does not actually happen at Fast Food restaurants, but hey, I can dream can't I). And be a costume character at Disney just changed to be McDonald's....well, not really, since we are not actually using a McDonald's character, so it is really just a fictional place.

So, I think somehow, my brain is sending me a message; Don't Work in Fast Food.
